Best Date Night Restaurants in Napa Valley

Nothing says romance more than Napa Valley. Napa Valley is home to some of America’s best food, wine, and vineyard views. If you’re looking for a romantic place to stay during your getaway, Churchill Manor is a bed and breakfast perfect for couples. Here are the best restaurants for a special date night, or two, during your Napa getaway.

The Thomas

The Thomas restaurant and Fagiani’s Bar have been a Napa Valley staple for years. Set in a historic building, The Thomas has an open-air rooftop deck and has been named an “Essential Napa Restaurant” by Zagat. The Thomas gets their ingredients from their own garden, picked fresh daily and made into signature dishes by their master chefs. Their dinner dishes include fresh seafood dishes and house made salads including veggies from their garden. They also have one of the best bloody marys in Napa.

Auberge Du Soliel

Located in the resort of the same name, Auberge Du Soliel offers dinner overlooking Napa vineyards and rolling hills. Their dishes are Mediterranean-inspired complemented with fresh veggies grown in Napa. If you love wine with a meal, this restaurant has over 15,000 bottles in their own wine cellar. You can even have an artisan cheese tasting before your meal.

Celadon

Located in downtown Napa Valley on the riverfront, Celadon offers eclectic global comfort food. Along with dinner, it’s also a great spot for brunch, lunch and even an afternoon cocktail. Their dinner menu includes global and domestic fare like Moroccan lamb shank or beef and bacon sliders. Their dessert menu includes wine pairing suggestions, dessert wines, handcrafted espresso drinks, and cognacs.

Cole’s Chop House

This “Classic American Steakhouse” has been featured on the Food Network and has won several awards including the 2016 Napa Valley Wine List Award. Their dinner menu includes 21-day dry aged steaks, New Zealand lamb chops, and a selection of seafood. Their wine list emphasizes the region’s Cabernet Sauvignons and they also serve hand-crafted cocktails.

Bottega

Located in Yountville in the historic Vintage Estates, Bottega brings together Italian Fare and California wine. Chef Michael Chiarello is an award-winning chef and Emmy award-winning host of Food Network‘s Easy Entertaining. You can dine inside in their warm, rustic dining room or outside on the patio next to stone fireplaces. Their dinner menu includes Italian favorites and a fabulous wine list including wines from Chiarello vineyards.
